Joke

Q: Why watch a garbage dump?

A: Because it MORE entertaining than TV! And CLEANER, too.

Joke

Q: What's the weather like in North Carolina today?

A: T honest, I don't know. I tried to measure the temperature outside, but my thermometer BUSTED!

Here's what today is

If you are an American like me, you probably know today is Memorial Day. Today, is the day we honor those people who paid the ultimate price, THEIR LIVES, to keep us free! So, if you are grilling out today, please think of the men and women who fought and died so you can have your cookout. Please NEVER take them for granted. Please also say a prayer for them, and their families who lost a family member serving this country. They defend something we cherish, OUR FREEDOM!!

Prayer requests.

I have two prayer requests to make to the world today. There has been an outbreak of wildfire in Arizona. It was found around Sedona. The fire had NOT been contained. It is located around an Arizona tourist area. Please pray that they will be all right and get the fire contained.

Also my girlfriend's father (Cravon) is about to have surgery. Please pray that he will be out and back on his feet soon. Please pray for him as well. These are my two prayer requests.

If my mother reads this blog...

I hope she knows I wish her a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! She turns 65 today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOM!!!

Some good news about the Hornets.

As you know I am a North Carolinian. In North Carolina, we have only one NBA team. They are currently the Charlotte Bobcats. However, next year they will once again be know as the Charlotte Hornets. The good news is in the NBA draft, they have #9 in the draft picks. That means only eight teams have pick before them. That mean they should get some good picks. I HOPE they pick some good ones. I mean, I would like them win for a change because I'm sick of seeing the Hornets lose!

Wait a minute, aren't they the Bobcats? But didn't I just saw Hornets? Well, I don't know. Well, yeah but they're gonna be the Hornets next year!  And don't I hate the #9? I always tell people how I hate when the number of my posts end in a 9. Well, the point is they have a high draft number and more importantly...I WANT TO SEE THEM WIN!! And HOPEFULLY they will win some more games next year. Which ever term you use.

Yes that second paragraph was really intended for more humor. I like to make my posts funny.

More random thoughts about the Tampa Bay Rays

Besides the hope that any of the Durham Bulls can help them out and maybe help the Tampa Bay Rays start winning for a change, if any if them get into the Major League. They play in St. Petersburg. I thought the nicest beach I have been it was in St. Petersburg. I was there when I was 11. That would be nice to go back there again. And and if a Bull becomes a Ray, he wouldn't have to worry about a game getting rained out. The Rays play indoors. Well, just thoughts that wondered around in my mind.

Random question

It seems that the Durham Bulls are going well in their league, Triple-A Minors. I don't know the exact record, but the Bulls are doing very well. However, my question is why can't their Major League affiliate, The Tampa Bay Rays, win? Well, I hope the Bulls the Rays get in the future will help them out.

Ya know, I guess I can declare the Rays my THIRD favorite Major League team. Sorry, but my favorite is the Detroit Tigers, followed by the Arizona Diamondbacks. But hey, I grew up in Detroit, so what do you expect. I was also born in Arizona and have family there. However, I barely lived in Arizona. So, I guess the Rays are third because they are the Bulls Major League affiliates. Well, that's all for now. Off to my other job.

Prayer request.

Please pray for California. There has been a lot of wildfires there. People even had to battle some "firenadoes." These "firenadoes" caused even more damage. Please pray for California. Please pray that Californians will be all right. Thank you.

More pictures of the Bulls game.

As you know Carson and I went to a Durham Bulls game. For those of you who didn't read the first post with the first set of photos here The Durham Bulls are a Triple-A Minor League Baseball team. They played their in state rivals, the Charlotte Knights. And Unfortunately, the knights won game one 2-1. Part of what went wrong was the Bulls often swung on really bad pitches, giving them strikes not balls. And that hurt them allowing Charlotte to strike them out. However, there was another game.

Now, for game two.

Here's Wool E. Bull want to a certain song to play. He got a girl from the crowd.

He offered her flowers. How sweet!

One of the Bulls got a home run. All right! GO BULLS!! At the Durham Bulls Athletic Park, when a person hits a home run, there is always the sound of a train. Well, there are a lot of trains in Durham. But still, they always make a the sound of a train when anybody hits a homer! Makes the fans go crazy.

It also makes the Bull snort smoke.

And there was another home run. GO BULLS!!! Sorry, I wasn't able to get the actual run.

It was getting late. Carson and I decided to go after the 3rd inning. And a lot of of other people did, too. Sorry, but many people didn't think they could stay for the who double header.

Though, outside the ball park they had some fountains with some pretty colors.

Fortunately, there was a station at home that televised it. I saw the rest on TV. This time, the Bulls won 6-2. GO BULLS!! Knights won game and the Bulls won the other. Unfortunately, most of the audience left by the time the game was over. Oh well. I guess nobody thought they could stay that late. Still happy the Bulls won.

Here are some photos of the Durham Bulls game tonight.

As I told all of you, tonight Carson (my girlfriend) and I went go see a Durham Bulls game. Just in case you are not from North Carolina and not familiar with the Durham Bulls, the Bulls are a Triple-A Minor League Baseball team. In this game they played their in state rival, the Charlotte Knights. It was an All-star double-header. It was a double header because last night's game (the game Carson and I originally tried to see) was rained out. However, to sped things up, in each game they play seven inning instead of nine. Well, I just thought I would share with you some photos of what happened tonight.

Here's the start of the game. Carson and I missed the announcements of the starting line-ups as well as the National Anthem. However, we weren't alone. Most of the fans weren't there either. The ball park soon gone fuller.

Here is a kid playing a game called "Termites in the Trousers" (I think, maybe I remembered the name wrong). But here's how it works. They though bean bag termites and a kid, and hes supposed to catch them with the special game pants (trousers) they provide for him. He caught two of of the three.

This is supposed to be a picture of Wool E. Bull (the Durham Bulls mascot) entertaining the crowd. Dancing to various different songs they played. The crowed like it.

Here a the Running of the Kids (similar to the Running of the Bulls in Spain) where the kids chase Wool E. Bull from one side of the ball park to the other.

Here is a Sumo match. Just for some more entertainment between innings.

This bull you see is called the "Snorting Bull." The sign reads "Hit grass, win salad. Hit Bull win steak."  It's pretty cool. Often time smoke comes right out of it.

Well, the Bulls lost the first game in the double header. We will have to see how things go in the second.

Here is the agenda for tonight.

Yes, 9 I saw you and got you. However, that's not the subject, this is. And oh am I so excited.

Tonight, Carson (my girlfriend) and I are going to see two, (I repeat) two, back to back Durham Bulls games as they play the Charlotte Knights. We were going see them yesterday, but unfortunately, the game was rained out. And that was on a Thursday when the Durham Bulls Athletic Park does $1 hot dogs. BUMMER! I mean seriously, could you watch a Baseball game without scarfing a hot dog or two. Well, not me! Well, to make up for the cancellation yesterday they're going to do a double header tonight. GO BULLS!!

I case you didn't know Durham Bulls, as well as the Charlotte Knights, are both Minor League Baseball teams. If only we have a Major League Team here in North Carolina! Oh well.

Joke

Timmy: Johnny, why do I always hear cars swear?

Johnny: Swear? How can cars swear? They can't even talk!

Timmy: But my Dad's car just did swear.

Johnny: Huh?

Timmy: Yeah, it just said "Beep, beep."

Johnny: Timmy, you are so STUPID!!

Good news about Casey Kasem

He is no longer missing. He has been found in the state of Washington. I wish him the best of luck. I am happy he's been found.

Just thought I would add these pictures of the moon on my blog

As many of you know I like astronomy. Well, I saw a nice red moon tonight. Just though I would share it with you all. I like it's red color. Yes, here in the United States the word is spelled C-O-L-O-R not C-O-L-O-U-R. Yes, I know every other country around the world that speaks English spells it with a "U" but for some strange reason we don't here in the US.

Here is another. This time it looks like clouds are going right through it. I thought it looked cool. Well, just htough I'd put it on.

Well, I have been to a job interview today

It was for a company called Liberty Mutual. Unfortunately, they either wanted me to be a recruiter, or an insurance salesman. I don't know if either of those jobs will work for me because I would have to call people up and have them agree to buy or come to interviews. Unfortunately, that is part of my Asperger's. It is hard for me to talk to people and get them to say "yes."

I also find it hard to talk about awkward subjects. I find talking to people about insurance is awkward. Even to employers. It's just something that it's hard because I don't know how they would view an insurance agent. I know most people don't like them. I mean, I don't want to be unpopular (shallow I know). What's worse, I have heard people are freezing insurance right now. So, I guess that sucks because that means that people, especially employers are more reluctant to buy insurance and I would rely a lot on commission pay. I don't think this job is right for me.

As for the recruiter job, it's only part time. I need full time. Well, I better keep searching. Maybe Harris Teeter will promote me. Far as I know, there is still talk of that. I HOPE I get the promotion.

Here's an anecdote to share with you all.

Well, as I was leaving my job at Shoeboxed. I had a brief conversation with an associate. I shall keep her name anonymous. I told an associate that I'm leaving. It's 4:00. She said "I'm jealous." Then I told her "Now I am about to go to my other job, and work until eleven." Then she said "I'm not jealous." But hey, true story.

PS. Yes, I had to italicize eleven.

Oooohh...you know what they say.

That 13 is an unlucky number. That's the numbers of posts I have this May. Aaaahhhh, I better change that. Good, now better! :) Boy, that really scared me. Glad no black cats crossed my path or walked under a ladder! But to be on the safe side let's see if I can pick a four leaf clover and maybe through salt over my shoulder when I get to my other job at Harris Teeter. Ha, ha, ha!!

PS. One Harris Teeter is a grocery store in case you were wondering.

And more bad news about Casey Kasem

I heard he has a serious bodily disease. Please pray they can find him and bring him to a doctor so he will be all right. Yes, please pray they will find Casey Kasem's whereabouts and treat him. He can sure use our prayers.

Prayer request

Legendary Top 40 DJ/Cartoon voice talent Casey Kasem is missing. I hope and pray that he is all right. His whereabouts are still unknown. I remember the Shows America's Top 10 on television and America's Top 40 on the radio. When I was a kid I used to watch the Transformers. He did the voice if the Autobot Cliff Jumper. Please pray that Kasem will be all right. Thank you.

Joke

Q: What would be the best description if a typical May Day here in North Carolina?

Would it be...

A. Hot

B. Very hot

C. Commonly mistaken for the Amazon Jungle.

Well you know the answer. Well just in case if not, it's well A. Nah, just kidding. It's actually C. By the way when I said May day, I just meant a day in May, not the holiday. We don't celebrate here in the United States.

Sunday, May 11, 2014

Well, I hope all of you Mother's out there had a happy Mother's Day!

Well, I I had a nice card and present and card to give my mother. She liked them both. For her birthday, gave her a $35 gift card to a store called Southern States. She goes there to buy riding supplies for her horse. In fact, she told me she was going to go there today. She wanted to spend her Mother's Day at the barn riding her horse.

Asked for me, this afternoon I went over to Carson's family to give Mary (her mother) a bouquet of flowers. I bought the flowers from Harris Teeter. She thought they were beautiful. Then we went to place called Goodberries. It's a place that sells frozen custard. Cravon (Carson's father) had a gift card to there and we all got frozen custard. After that we went back to Carson's house to get the Kohl's coupons. Mary had a coupon that expires today. So, we let Mary do some shopping there. Mary enjoyed her time shopping at Kohl's. Carson and I walked around the block some. We made three trips around. Then Carson shown Mary the card I bought for her. Mary loved it. Then I went back home. My Dad grilled some steak for my Mom. She loves grilled steak. I had some of the steak as well. It was delicious. I wish both my mother, Mary (Carson's mother), and all the mothers in the world a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!

What do you know? I wished all the mother's in the world in the world a happy a Mother's Day, and I got the number 9 again. I just killed two birds with one stone!! Yes, I really hate it when the number of my post ends in a 9. Well, I guess that's all I need to say.

Well, this was the UNC Baseball game last Friday.

Well, last Friday Carson (my girlfriend) and I went to go see a UNC Baseball game. As you know both Carson and I are members of the UNC alumni. At that game our team, the UNC Tarheels played the Florida State Seminoles. Well, here are some photos how the whole thing went.
Here is our team, the UNC Tarheels.

Here are the Florida State Seminoles.

And this is the score board. Hey, look you can see some UNC play players  on the far left in the middle.

Here is the first pith. FSU was batting first. That's just an NCAA rule. The visitors always bat first.

Well FSU leads 2-0. We hoped the best for UNC.

Unfortunately, UNC continued to get creamed. After all this Carson and I decided we've seen enough. After the eighth inning, we decided we couldn't take anymore of seeing UNC get beat. We decided to leave the game early. Hey what could we say. We couldn't take anymore. At least I got a hot dog during the game. Carson and I also got pretzels. Well, I need something to talk about.

And looks like other UNC fans shared that same notion.

More UNC fans leaving. After the game Carson and I went to a nearby Burger King and got milkshakes. We hear FSU got two more runs. All we knew was after seeing UNC losing 5-0, we didn't want to see anymore. It just sheer torture!! Well, it is to a UNC fan. Makes me glad we DIDN'T  see the ending. However, we did have fun that night. Carson had a present to give my mother for Mother's Day. I had a card for her mother. But that's what Friday night was like. Sorry, this photo is blurry. Well, hey, I make mistakes, too.

Friday, May 9, 2014

Well people I know I am going to do this tonight

I'm gonna go see a Baseball game with my girlfriend tonight. It's college Baseball. It will be the UNC Tar Heels agaist the Florida State Seminoles. I wish the best if luck to the Tar Heels (my NCAA team). Even though this hasn't been their best year. But still, GO, HEELS, GO!!!

Random question

Why do they call today Friday, when nothing gets formally fried? Just a question.

Joke

Q: Question should a good TV be worth a fortune?

A: If you ask me, YES, it's like gold and diamonds to me. AND UNDENIABLY JUST AS RARE!!

Well, I watching the movie Man on the Moon.

You that 1999 movie starring Jim Carrey. I was wondering this, could have Andy Kaufman could have had Asperger's like me? All I know is I never tried to get people as riled up like he did (or at least he did in that movie). However, unlike his, I do consider myself a comedian.

Random Question

I wonder why does the world have to be so complicated?! I think things would be better if every things was easier to understand. I do t know, just a question.

Here I am with my 1,000 post!

Yes people, this marks post number 1,000! I've been blogging for about a year now. I really do enjoy it. Hope you can share it with your friends. I guess, I'm doing all right. Hopefully, I will get promoted at my job at Harris Teeter. It would sure mean A LOT to me if I do. Well, I will more posts on the way, and a lot more jokes (do I put too much emphasis on certain words?). I will say this living with Asperger's is tough (and I just emphasized another word). Keep checking out my blog. Please introduce it to your friends. See ya later.

Oh, I must tell you this. I have a prayer request to make to the world. Now they are lost more than ever in the search for Malaysia Flight 370. They had to "go back to the drawing board" in searching for the missing plane. Please pray!

Sunday, May 4, 2014

Well, people here is how my Sunday went.

I will tell you that I am getting better. I have been coughing much less. Also I haven't had as much mucus in my throat. My eye are no longer red and swollen. I can wear my contacts again. But that's what's been going on as of late.

I have spent the last two Sunday's with Carson, my girlfriend. Last week we saw the movie Heaven is for Real. It was a film about a Nebraska Pastor, named Todd Burpo, who claims his son Colton went to Heaven. Well, what happens? You're just gonna have to see the movie. Colton did share some amazing stories with people about his trip to Heaven. I personally thought Heaven is for Real is a moving film. Whenever I can, I should also read the book as well. So you should either read the book or see the movie. That's my personal recommendation.

Asked for today, Carson and I went eat lunch at Zinburger at Southpoint. Carson had a Salad, I had what they called a Breakfast Burger. I thought the Burger was DELICIOUS! It was VERY juicy! Carson enjoyed her salad as well. We also shared a milkshake. The flavor was mint chocolate chip. That is my personal favorite flavor of ice cream. Carson likes it, too.

After that we roamed around the Southpoint Mall some. Carson bought some new pajamas at Belk. However, around 4:00 we went to go see the movie this week. We went to go see the Amazing Spider-man 2. We saw it in 3D. Could you believe 15 minutes before showtime, I lost my 3D glasses. However, the AMC Southpoint Cinema was willing to give me a replacement. I did enjoy the movie. However, I thought it could have been better though. What happens in this movie? Well, you will need to just go see it. Now, I am watching the WWE Extreme Rules through the WWE Network on my Kindle Fire. It's great I don't have to spend $50 to see this Pay-Per-View. So, that's what's been going going on. Have a nice week people.

Friday, May 2, 2014

Sorry, I haven't posted in a while

However, I have been VERY sick. I first thought it was allergies. I had lots of phlegm in my throat, a hacking cough, and my eye was red and swollen. However, I spoke to a doctor. He told me it was a respiratory infection. It is getting better. My eyes aren't red and swollen anymore since the doctor prescribed some eye drops for me. I haven't been wearing my contacts for a awhile, so I had to wear my glasses. But that's what's been going on. Please pray that I will be all right soon.
