As I told all of you, tonight Carson (my girlfriend) and I went go see a Durham Bulls game. Just in case you are not from North Carolina and not familiar with the Durham Bulls, the Bulls are a Triple-A Minor League Baseball team. In this game they played their in state rival, the Charlotte Knights. It was an All-star double-header. It was a double header because last night's game (the game Carson and I originally tried to see) was rained out. However, to sped things up, in each game they play seven inning instead of nine. Well, I just thought I would share with you some photos of what happened tonight.

Here's the start of the game. Carson and I missed the announcements of the starting line-ups as well as the National Anthem. However, we weren't alone. Most of the fans weren't there either. The ball park soon gone fuller. |
Here is a kid playing a game called "Termites in the Trousers" (I think, maybe I remembered the name wrong). But here's how it works. They though bean bag termites and a kid, and hes supposed to catch them with the special game pants (trousers) they provide for him. He caught two of of the three. |
This is supposed to be a picture of Wool E. Bull (the Durham Bulls mascot) entertaining the crowd. Dancing to various different songs they played. The crowed like it. |
Here a the Running of the Kids (similar to the Running of the Bulls in Spain) where the kids chase Wool E. Bull from one side of the ball park to the other. |
Here is a Sumo match. Just for some more entertainment between innings. |
This bull you see is called the "Snorting Bull." The sign reads "Hit grass, win salad. Hit Bull win steak." It's pretty cool. Often time smoke comes right out of it. |
Well, the Bulls lost the first game in the double header. We will have to see how things go in the second. |
